• Conduct thorough assessments and create comprehensive treatment plans for clients, addressing both crisis and pre-crisis situations and utilizing evidence-based practices.
• Document all aspects of patient interactions and treatment plans to comply with regulatory standards and ensure continuity of care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement positive behavior support plans that enhance patient engagement and outcomes.
• Engage in regular supervision and professional development activities to stay informed about best practices and regulatory changes in mental health care.
• Establish and maintain effective communication with external service systems, state agencies, and community partners to coordinate resources for clients.
• Participate in ongoing licensing and accreditation processes, contributing to the clinic's mission and objectives through active involvement in community professional forums and task forces.
• Promote the values, philosophy, and principles of Grace Hospital both internally and externally, ensuring all practices reflect our commitment to compassionate care.
• Perform additional related duties as assigned by the Clinic Director to support team goals and enhance service delivery.

The ideal candidate will be skilled in working with a diverse client base, including individuals facing emotional distress, substance use challenges, developmental disabilities, and recovery from brain injuries. This role is particularly focused on delivering personalized care that meets each client's unique therapy needs while promoting resilience, growth, and community engagement.

• A Master’s Degree in a behavioral health field is required to fulfill clinical training and licensure prerequisites.
• Candidates must possess an independent LMHC license issued by the state board of Virginia to practice within our community health clinic.
• Strong organizational skills in maintaining accurate clinical records, preparing detailed reports, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Proven ability to thrive in an interdisciplinary team environment, exhibiting strong interpersonal skills and effective communication.
• Demonstrated judgment and decision-making capabilities based on sound professional knowledge and ethical considerations.

• Experience in community mental health settings or similar environments is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities and assessment tools.
• Prior involvement in licensing or accreditation processes is advantageous for the operational integrity of the clinic.

Grace Hospital offers a competitive salary range of USD 86,000 – 103,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a base salary, employees will also benefit from:
