Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs accurately. Design and implement data-informed treatment plans to address those needs effectively.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness-based interventions when delivering therapy to individuals, families, and groups.
  • Collaborate with case managers, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals to provide seamless, coordinated care.
  • Respond to crisis situations with appropriate interventions to ensure client safety and welfare. Provide immediate support and stabilization for clients experiencing acute distress.
  • Engage in community outreach initiatives aimed at increasing mental health awareness and reducing stigma associated with seeking help.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will impact a diverse client population made up of individuals from various cultural, socioeconomic, and age backgrounds. You will address a spectrum of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and more, thus contributing significantly to their recovery and overall well-being.

Qualifications
  • A current and valid license as either a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
  • A master’s or doctoral degree in relevant fields such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with a proven ability to build rapport and establish trusted therapeutic relationships with clients.
  • Cultural competence and sensitivity to connect and engage effectively with clients from various backgrounds.
  • Strong organizational skills, proficient in maintaining accurate and timely documentation within electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience providing therapy in a community health setting, especially with underserved populations.
  • Familiarity with integrating telehealth services and technology into therapeutic practice.
  • Background in crisis intervention or emergency mental health response.
