Blissful Balance Therapeutic Services is seeking dedicated and compassionate licensed mental health therapists to fill full-time positions in our remote community health clinic based in Jersey City, New Jersey. As a mental health therapist, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals, couples, and families on their journey toward improved mental well-being. Work Environment

This position offers a flexible remote work setting, enabling you to deliver therapy and support from the comfort of your home while still feeling connected to a vibrant team. Our collaborative environment encourages teamwork and communication among therapists and support staff, allowing for a cohesive approach to patient care. While there may be some flexibility in your schedule, standard working hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with potential adjustments based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate patients' psychological needs and to craft personalized treatment plans that foster recovery and stability.
  • Utilize evidence-based interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to provide individual and group therapy sessions.
  • Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups aimed at addressing common mental health concerns and creating a nurturing community for participants.
  • Collaborate closely with our multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to provide comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Deliver crisis intervention services and support for patients experiencing mental health emergencies, ensuring their immediate safety and well-being.
  • Educate patients about their mental health conditions and available treatments, along with community resources that can aid in their recovery process.
  • Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.
  • Actively participate in professional development activities, case consultations, and team meetings to foster continuous learning and improvement.
  • Stay informed on the latest trends and research in mental health therapy to enhance your treatment approaches.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will provide therapeutic services to a diverse patient population comprising individuals from various cultural backgrounds and experiences. This includes working with adolescents, adults, and families facing an array of mental health challenges, enhancing your adaptive skills in dealing with different issues and client dynamics.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New Jersey.
  • Proven expertise in conducting comprehensive mental health evaluations and developing effective, individualized treatment plans.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver primary therapeutic interventions to individuals and facilitate group therapy with diverse populations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster positive relationships with patients and team members.
  • Commitment to maintaining professional ethics and boundaries, demonstrating sound judgment in practice.
  • Experience and comfort with electronic health record (EHR) systems and digital therapy tools.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team with a focus on integrated patient care.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of 2 yearsโ€™ clinical experience in a mental health setting, with a focus on outpatient therapy.
  • Experience working within a community health clinic or similar environment.
  • Engagement in continuing education and other professional development endeavors to remain at the forefront of mental health trends.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer an attractive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
