Work Environment

In this remote position, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team consisting of psychologists, case managers, and other mental health professionals. While the majority of your work will be conducted from the comfort of your home, you will engage in virtual meetings and consultations that facilitate teamwork and coordination. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations using evidence-based methodologies to accurately identify clients' mental health needs.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans for individuals, families, and groups, utilizing therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness strategies.
• Provide ongoing therapy sessions remotely via telehealth platforms, ensuring accessibility and convenience for clients.
• Collaborate effectively with a wide array of healthcare professionals, including case managers and psychiatrists, fostering a holistic approach to client care.
• Deliver immediate crisis intervention services to clients experiencing acute mental health crises, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Participate in community outreach efforts and educational workshops aimed at increasing mental health awareness and decreasing stigma surrounding mental illness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, allowing for effective therapy sessions and collaboration with colleagues.
• Cultural competency and the ability to work sensitively with clients from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
• Organizational skills for maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to regulatory requirements.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in a community health setting or delivering teletherapy services.
• A familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to manage patient documentation.
• Strong advocacy skills for promoting mental health in underserved communities.
