Position Overview

Riverplace Counseling, LLC is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' mental health, focusing on emotional, behavioral, and social functioning.
• Provide individual and group psychotherapy, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities to address conditions such as anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
• Design and implement customized treatment plans that are culturally competent and responsive to the individual needs of each patient.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on clinical feedback and patient input.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources to enhance their understanding and involvement in the care process.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers, such as psychiatrists and primary care physicians, to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to mental health care.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, adhering to legal and ethical standards in all aspects of practice.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and team training to stay current with best practices in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work primarily with individuals experiencing a variety of mental health challenges, including but not limited to mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma-related disorders, and stress-related challenges. Your approach will be centered on building trust and rapport, allowing you to deliver person-centered care that aligns with their values and preferences.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in providing psychotherapy and mental health services.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for effective patient interactions and collaboration with healthcare teams.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough mental health assessments and develop evidence-based treatment plans.
• Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) and other healthcare software to manage patient documentation and care coordination.
• A strong understanding of mental health conditions and the challenges faced by those in treatment.
• A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in all interactions.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a community health clinic or outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with culturally responsive care practices and integrating social justice principles into mental health work.
• Experience in providing services through telehealth platforms to optimize patient accessibility.

Compensation and Benefits
