Commercial Project Manager


REPORTS TO: RC Leadership as assigned


POSITION OVERVIEW: Cultivate new business and provide construction project management for commercial construction projects utilizing RC2 construction technology.


RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Prospect and nurture new business
  • Present RC2 value proposition communications via personal meetings, electronic communications, and scheduled events consistent with commercial construction projects
  • Manage all aspects of an assigned commercial project(s) including, but not limited to, the following: (i) monitoring the design process (schematic design to construction documents to shop drawings), (ii) develop/maintain modular unit specifications,(iii) develop/maintain scope of work documents, (iv) prepare product submittals, (v) initiate request for information, (vi) develop project logistics' planning /scheduling
  • Assist with contract administration, including but not limited to,(i) draft/negotiate contract documents, (ii) manage/monitor contractual obligations, (iii) develop and manage change orders, and (iv) prepare timely payment applications for review
  • Communicate with all project stakeholders and maintain relationships with project owners, subcontractors, and architectural / engineering firms.
  • Provide high levels of customer service to both internal and external customers
  • Prepare ROM and other cost estimates
  • Manage subcontractors and subconsultants
  • Participate in conflict resolution specific to projects assigned
  • Coordinate field repairs and document punch list items with internal departments and customers as required.
  • Attend and initiate project meetings, internal & external, as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in construction Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, or Business/Marketing.
  • Five (5) years of related / modular industry-construction experience
  • Building Code knowledge
  • CAD experience/knowledge preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) and familiarity with cloud base project management tools such as Builder Trend, Pipeline Deals, and alike.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong leadership, organizational and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work effectively in field or from satellite offices
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel throughout multiple States (Valid driver's license).
