• Conduct thorough initial assessments to understand clients' mental health histories, current challenges, and treatment needs.
• Develop and implement personalized therapy plans that use various therapeutic modalities tailored to individual client goals.
• Lead engaging therapy sessions that may utilize cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and other evidence-based practices to facilitate recovery and progress.
• Monitor client progress closely, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to reflect changing needs and circumstances.
• Maintain detailed client records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in reporting.
• Participate in regular case consultations with peers and supervisors to foster professional growth and improve clinical practices.
• Engage in ongoing training and continuing education opportunities to enhance therapeutic skills and stay informed about the latest research and trends in mental health care.

The mental health counselor will have the opportunity to work with a diverse clientele, including adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and other mental health issues. Our holistic approach encourages the use of various resources, including psychoeducation and community referrals, to provide comprehensive support to clients and their families.

• A Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Active licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Georgia.
• A minimum of two years of hands-on clinical experience providing mental health therapy in a clinical or community setting.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients quickly.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems will be considered an asset.

• Experience conducting teletherapy sessions is highly preferred, along with a strong understanding of best practices for remote client engagement.
• Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-informed care approaches is an advantage.
