Work Environment

This position offers a remote work setting, providing flexibility to balance your professional and personal life. You will work Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a structured schedule without the distractions of a traditional office. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to understand their psychological needs, backgrounds, and challenges.
• Create and implement tailored therapy plans based on clinical best practices and the unique circumstances of each client.
• Facilitate diverse therapy sessions, employing a range of modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness techniques.
• Utilize behavioral strategies to motivate clients, helping them set and achieve their therapeutic goals.
• Maintain comprehensive and confidential records of therapy sessions and client progress using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Engage in continuous professional development, attending workshops and training to stay current with trends in the mental health field.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with Faith Works Counseling Solutions, you will work primarily with diverse populations facing varied mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and trauma-related disorders. Our clients often seek out our services due to the personalized approach and the emphasis on culturally competent care, enabling us to address the unique needs of the communities we serve.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related mental health field is required.
• An active and unrestricted LPC, LCSW, or LMFT license in the state of Georgia.
• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience, showcasing your ability to work effectively with a variety of clients.
• Excellent communication skills to establish rapport and trust with clients, ensuring effective therapeutic relationships.
• Familiarity with EMR systems is advantageous, aiding in efficient record-keeping and coordination of care.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a community health clinic or similar setting, working with underserved populations.
• Proficiency in evidence-based practices and therapeutic modalities that support client recovery.
• Strong organizational abilities for managing case files and therapy plans effectively.

Compensation and Benefits
