• Conduct comprehensive assessments of students and families to understand their unique needs and challenges.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that are evidence-based and focused on client-centered solutions.
• Implement therapeutic interventions designed to enhance client well-being, utilizing modalities appropriate for each individual.
• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring the privacy of all clients.
• Collaborate with educational professionals, parents, and other involved parties to provide holistic care and support.
• Engage in ongoing education to stay updated on mental health best practices, including attending workshops and participating in professional development opportunities.

In this role, you will primarily work with students and their families, addressing a range of mental health challenges. Students may be experiencing obstacles related to emotional well-being, academic stress, social issues, or behavioral challenges. Your expertise will help empower these young individuals to navigate their difficulties and develop coping strategies that foster resilience and success.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of Virginia.
• At least 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health or social service setting, preferably in a school environment.
• Proven proficiency in implementing solution-based psychotherapy interventions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills necessary for forming trusting relationships with clients and collaborators.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, critical thinking skills, and adaptability in various situations.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

• Experience working with children and adolescents in educational settings.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Trauma-Informed Care.
• Demonstrated cultural competence and ability to work with diverse populations.
