This position is set in a fully remote environment, offering great flexibility to manage your counseling practice without the constraints of a physical office. Although the position is remote, you will be integrated into a highly supportive virtual team culture. Our outpatient counseling center operates on an appointment basis, facilitating personalized scheduling that accommodates both client and counselor needs.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and ongoing evaluations to establish effective and personalized treatment plans for clients.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to meet the specific needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups.
• Employ a variety of therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to provide cohesive care that addresses the multifaceted needs of clients.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation to comply with ethical standards and legal requirements while ensuring patient confidentiality.
• Engage in continuous professional development, staying abreast of the latest research and best practices in the mental health field.

You will engage with a diverse client population, including those facing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and other mental health challenges. Our clients come from varied backgrounds, and you will be expected to adapt your therapeutic approach to effectively address their unique circumstances and cultural contexts.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Virginia.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in providing counseling services, preferably in a clinical setting, demonstrating a strong foundation in therapeutic techniques.

While not mandatory, experience in specialized therapeutic areas such as trauma-informed care or family systems therapy is highly desirable. Familiarity with remote counseling technologies, teletherapy platforms, and documentation practices will be advantageous in providing seamless virtual client care.

We offer a competitive annual salary range of USD 300,000 – 400,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, we provide a generous sign-on bonus for experienced candidates.
