Job Title: Eagle Performance Business Analyst
Location: Remote, EST
Duration: 12 Months (Possibility of extension)

This is a critical, high-impact contract role driving a multi-year transformation of Company's investment performance ecosystem.
They're migrating:
  • FROM: EGLE (current Investment Book of Record & performance engine)
  • TO: FactSet + Lakehouse (future-state architecture)
This isn't just BAU support. This is platform transformation + data strategy execution.
Core Mission (3 Pillars)
  1. EGLE → Lakehouse Migration
    • Understand EGLE's performance model inside-out
    • Publish current-state performance data into the Lakehouse
    • Enable downstream consumers to stop pulling directly from EGLE
  2. EGLE → FactSet Performance Lift
    • Translate EGLE performance logic into FactSet requirements
    • Support FactSet-calculated performance flowing back into the Lakehouse
    • Ensure zero disruption to end consumers
  3. BAU + Enhancements
    • Handle day-to-day performance changes
    • Support small enhancements while big transformation work runs in parallel

Description
Operational Technology Team is looking for a senior BA / BSA having deep knowledge in Investment Performance and GIPS measurement and reporting using Eagle STAR and Eagle Performance module as a tool.
Candidate should be able to work on both Project related and BAU specific enhancements as they may arise at time to time.
Candidate should be able to manage and prioritizing the product backlog that includes the epics, features, and user stories, translating product managers' strategies to development tasks, and learning the customers' and market's requirements.
Communication with the customers, partners, and the Developer. Updating the Product Backlog regularly for the team meetings.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • 10+ Years of progressive work experience in the investment management space
  • Knowledge across front, middle and back-office solutions focusing investment / asset management
  • Good knowledge across investment operational process across accounting, trade settlement, corp. actions, collateral management etc.
  • Candidate with deep knowledge across Fixed Income, Equity and Derivatives performance measurement is a must.
  • Good working knowledge understanding on Eagle data enrichment, perf.calc construction and Eagle data mart modules
  • Good working knowledge on identifying and resolving performance returns issues
  • Strong investment data knowledge across EQ, FI, Derivatives and alternate assets
  • Strong knowledge on operational process including Mutual Funds, CITs, ETFs and Separately Managed Accounts
  • Strong working knowledge in Eagle suit of products (Accounting, Pricing, Investment Performance and Data Management)
  • Ability to review Current Processes of Business Users and identify opportunities or Strategies to improve business efficiency while ensuring maximum Customer Satisfaction with proper negotiation and building good relationship with all key stakeholders involved.
  • Prepare Functional Requirement Documents, BRDs , Perform Impact and Gap analysis with proper formal documentation.
  • Identify and communicate risks during analysis phase and raise flags in advance.
  • Own (Lead) / Contribute (Member) to the end to end analysis tasks like scoping, estimation, planning, work allocation, resource management, progress tracking & status reporting, management reporting, UAT support, Production Deployment etc.
  • Facilitate regular communication with IT and business partners using various methods to monitor progress toward project goals / milestones, task status, and identify / address issues.
  • Strong understanding towards data integration, meta data management, data quality and ability to run SQL queries to perform data analysis are must to have
  • Strong communication and written skills are required
  • Working in a fast paced and agile environment is a must

Educational Requirements
Qualification: Graduation in Computer Engineering or related subjects. Post Graduation or Specialization in Finance or Financial Services will be an added advantage.

10 to 11 years of relevant work experience (Team Members / Lead/ Manager)
