We are currently seeking a Senior Technical Lead (Okta & Microsoft Entra ID) to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia (US-GA), United States (US).

Position Summary

Location : Fully remote

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Lead with deep expertise in Okta, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Active Directory), and enterprise Identity and Access Management (IAM) technologies. This individual will serve as a technical leader responsible for designing, implementing, securing, and operating modern identity platforms that support cloud-first, hybrid, and multi-cloud environments.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience architecting enterprise identity solutions, leading identity modernization initiatives, driving Zero Trust security strategies, and integrating applications across complex environments. This role requires both strategic architecture expertise and hands-on engineering capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Identity Architecture & Strategy

  • Develop and maintain enterprise identity architecture roadmaps aligned with business and security objectives.
  • Design secure, scalable, and highly available identity solutions utilizing Okta and Microsoft Entra ID.
  • Lead identity transformation and cloud migration initiatives.
  • Define IAM standards, governance models, and architectural best practices.
  • Drive adoption of Zero Trust and Identity-Centric Security principles.
  • Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance across business, security, and infrastructure teams.

Engineering & Implementation

  • Design, deploy, and support Okta and Microsoft Entra ID environments.
  • Implement Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Conditional Access, Adaptive Authentication, and Risk-Based Access Controls.
  • Configure and manage lifecycle management workflows for user onboarding, transfers, and offboarding.
  • Design and implement federation solutions utilizing:
    • SAML 2.0
    • OAuth 2.0
    • OpenID Connect (OIDC)
    • SCIM
    • WS-Federation
  • Integrate SaaS, cloud, custom, and on-premises applications with enterprise identity providers.
  • Develop automation and provisioning workflows leveraging APIs, PowerShell, Python, Terraform, and Infrastructure as Code methodologies.

Security & Compliance

  • Implement privileged access management and least-privilege access strategies.
  • Design and enforce Conditional Access and policy-based authentication controls.
  • Support compliance initiatives including SOX, HIPAA, PCI, FedRAMP, CJIS, NIST, ISO 27001, and related frameworks.
  • Partner with cybersecurity teams to assess identity risks and mitigate vulnerabilities.
  • Conduct identity security reviews, threat assessments, and remediation planning.

Operations & Support

  • Provide Tier III engineering support for complex IAM incidents and escalations.
  • Monitor platform health, availability, performance, and capacity.
  • Develop operational procedures, technical documentation, and support runbooks.
  • Participate in incident response and root cause analysis activities.
  • Lead platform upgrades, migrations, and continuous improvement efforts.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, security teams, and application owners.
  • Mentor junior engineers and identity administrators.
  • Lead technical workshops, architecture reviews, and design sessions.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, security, networking, and application development teams.

Required Qualifications

Experience

  • 8+ years of Identity and Access Management experience.
  • 5+ years of hands-on Okta administration and engineering experience.
  • 5+ years of Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD engineering and architecture experience.
  • 8+ years' experience designing and supporting enterprise IAM solutions for organizations with 10,000+ users.
  • 8+ years' experience in hybrid Active Directory and cloud identity environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) platforms.
  • Experience integrating IAM solutions with ServiceNow.
  • Experience with CyberArk, Delinea, BeyondTrust, or other PAM solutions.
  • Experience supporting government, healthcare, financial services, or highly regulated environments.
  • Understanding of NIST 800-53, Zero Trust, and modern cybersecurity frameworks.

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this role is $84,734- $155,063. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
