Job Summary:
DMD Systems Recovery LLC, a leader in IT asset disposition (ITAD), is seeking a dynamic and results-driven ITAD Salesperson to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving new business development, managing client relationships, and providing tailored solutions for secure and environmentally compliant IT asset disposition. You will work closely with prospective clients to understand their ITAD needs and promote DMD's services to ensure secure data destruction, equipment resale, and environmental sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
  • New Business Development: Proactively identify and target potential clients for ITAD services, including companies with large IT infrastructures, government agencies, data centers, and technology firms.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction throughout the IT asset disposition process.
  • Consultative Sales Approach: Understand clients' IT asset lifecycle and offer solutions tailored to their specific needs, including data security, environmental compliance, and value recovery from retired IT assets.
  • Solution Selling: Promote the full range of DMD's ITAD services, including secure data destruction, equipment remarketing, logistics management, and e-waste recycling.
  • Proposal Development: Create and present customized proposals, RFP responses, and contracts to potential clients, aligning DMD's services with their operational and compliance requirements.
  • Market Research and Competitive Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to develop strategies for expanding the client base and increasing market share.
  • Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with DMD's operations, logistics, and technical teams to ensure smooth service delivery and meet client expectations.
  • Sales Targets: Meet or exceed individual and team sales quotas and revenue goals, providing regular sales forecasting and reporting to leadership.
  • Maintain and update sales and customer records
  • Bring new ideas how to do things better at this growing company

Required Skills and Abilities:
  • Computer and Software skills - using CRM software and MS Office (MS Excel in particular)
  • Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably within the IT asset disposition, IT services, or related technology industries.
  • Knowledge of IT hardware (servers, networking equipment, computers, etc.) and the ITAD process, including data security, e-waste recycling regulations, and equipment remarketing.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with a focus on customer service and problem-solving.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise sales

Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times

Employment Details:
