This role is structured around a supportive remote work setting, providing flexibility and work-life balance for our therapists. You will be engaged during standard business hours, Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing you to maintain a healthy equilibrium between professional and personal responsibilities.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' symptoms, leading to accurate diagnoses and effective treatment planning.
• Collaborate with clients to develop individualized treatment strategies, considering their specific needs, goals, and preferences.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to deliver impactful interventions.
• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, providing resources and support to aid in the understanding of treatment options and self-care practices.
• Regularly monitor clients' progress through tailored progress notes, evaluating the effectiveness of treatment plans and making necessary adjustments.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Maintain compliance with legal and ethical standards through accurate and secure documentation of client interactions.
• Participate in professional development opportunities, including case consultations and workshops, to enhance clinical expertise and adhere to best practices in the field.
• Advocate for client needs, contributing to destigmatization efforts surrounding mental health issues and promoting awareness within the community.

Your therapeutic work will primarily focus on individuals experiencing mood disorders, such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related disorders. Interacting with a diverse range of patients, you will develop strong therapeutic relationships and foster a supportive environment conducive to trust and healing, tailored to meet their specific cultural and personal contexts.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) within the state of Virginia.
• Strong foundation in evidence-based treatment methodologies specifically targeting mood disorders.
• Excellent communication skills, allowing you to connect with clients from various backgrounds while effectively conveying treatment strategies and resources.

• A proven track record of successfully treating mood disorders through documented treatment outcomes.
• Experience utilizing teletherapy tools and practices to engage with clients effectively in a remote environment.
• Knowledge of psychopharmacology to facilitate productive collaborations with psychiatrist colleagues.

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
