Work Environment

This position offers a remote work setting, allowing you to engage with clients in a flexible and comfortable environment. Our practice emphasizes work-life balance, with established business hours of Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring you can devote your time to both professional responsibilities and personal well-being.

Key Responsibilities

As a Mental Health Therapist at Spring Water Behavioral Health Services, your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments to understand the severity, frequency, and duration of clients' mood disorder symptoms.
  • Collaborating with clients to co-create personalized treatment plans tailored to their individual needs and life circumstances.
  • Facilitating evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to support recovery.
  • Providing educational resources and emotional support to clients and their families regarding coping strategies, treatment options, and mood disorder management.
  • Regularly tracking clients' progress and modifying treatment plans when necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Working closely with psychiatrists and other professionals to ensure an integrated and holistic approach to patient care.
  • Maintaining detailed, confidential documentation of sessions and treatment plans in adherence to legal and ethical standards.
  • Participating in ongoing professional development and case consultations, contributing to team meetings and training sessions.
  • Acting as an advocate for clients, helping de-stigmatize mental health issues and ensuring the necessary support and resources are available to them.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with diverse populations experiencing mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. Our clients range in age and experiences, making it crucial for our therapists to tailor interventions to meet varied cultural and personal backgrounds.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must hold:

  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • A valid and current licensure as either an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona.
Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with the following experience will be given preference:

  • Proficiency in evidence-based treatment methods for mood disorders, particularly CBT and DBT.
  • A solid understanding of psychopharmacology and collaboration with psychiatrists to enhance treatment effectiveness.
  • A proven history of achieving positive outcomes in the treatment of mood disorders.
  • Strong communication skills, with an ability to build rapport with clients from a variety of backgrounds.
Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually. In addition, you will receive:
