Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate each client’s mood disorder symptoms, utilizing standardized diagnostic tools to establish baselines.
• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, integrating their specific goals and preferences while ensuring adherence to best practice guidelines.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), adapting techniques to each client’s unique context.
• Provide education to clients and their families about mood disorders, encouraging self-care strategies and effective coping mechanisms.
• Regularly monitor client progress, making data-driven adjustments to treatment plans and documenting all interactions accurately in compliance with ethical standards.
• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration, working closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.
• Stay informed of current research and evidence-based practices in the field to enhance treatment efficacy.
• Participate actively in case consultations and professional development workshops to cultivate advanced clinical competencies.
• Advocate for clients within the community, championing mental health awareness and reducing the stigma associated with mood disorders.

Qualifications

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid and current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas is mandatory.
• Proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly CBT and DBT, is essential.
• A strong grasp of psychopharmacology is vital for effective collaboration with medical professionals.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build rapport with a diverse client base are required.

Preferred Experience

We prefer candidates with a proven track record of successful outcomes in mood disorder treatment, as well as those with experience in conducting telehealth sessions. Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
