We believe that the right people make all the difference, and we are looking for a skilled recruiter to help us attract, assess, and hire top talent from Alaska and across the U.S.

What We're Looking For:

We need a part-time, remote recruiter who understands the automotive industry and is an expert in Topgrading recruitment. Someone who thrives in candidate sourcing, structured interviews, and building hiring processes that ensure long-term success.

This is NOT a recruiting agency position – we want an independent recruiter who will work closely with our internal leadership team to refine and enhance our hiring process over time.

What You'll Do (Your Role & Responsibilities):

1. Source, Screen & Interview Top Talent

  • Use Top grading methods to identify high-performing candidates.
  • Thoroughly vet candidates for technical and cultural fit.
  • Manage Applicant Tracking System (ATS) data (Applicant Pro experience preferred).

2. Enhance Our Hiring Process & Improve Success Rates

  • Collaborate with leadership to refine scorecards, job descriptions, and interview methods.
  • Optimize interview-to-hire ratios by improving assessment techniques.

3. Sell the Simard Way & Attract Top Talent

  • Learn and articulate our company vision, values, and mission to candidates.
  • Develop compelling outreach strategies to entice the best candidates in the industry.
  • Help candidates understand the benefits of relocating to Alaska.

4. Specialize in Hard-to-Fill Roles

  • Focus on hiring A-Level Technicians, Service Advisors, and Managers.
  • Develop customized recruitment strategies for high-demand roles.

5. Work with HR to Manage Recruiting Efforts

  • Sourcing, interviews, and hiring pipeline reporting.
  • Track hiring metrics and provide reports to leadership.

What You Bring (Must-Have Skills & Experience):

  • Topgrading Expertise – Certified or highly experienced in structured interview methods.
  • Automotive Recruiting Experience – Strong background in hiring for automotive roles.
  • Process Improvement Mindset – Ability to refine hiring scorecards, KPIs, and interview processes.
