Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct initial consultations and regular sessions with patients to assess their mental health status, identifying key issues and concerns.
  • Develop, implement, and adapt therapeutic plans based on patient needs, employing evidence-based practices tailored to individual circumstances.
  • Utilize diverse therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness techniques to support clients in their recovery journey.
  • Maintain consistent and open lines of communication with patients, providing them with tools, resources, and coping strategies to manage their mental health challenges effectively.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care and refer patients to necessary external resources.
  • Document treatment progress and adjust plans as necessary in compliance with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse population of clients, including those struggling with depression, anxiety, substance abuse, trauma, and eating disorders. Qualifications
  • A master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid state licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.
  • A minimum of four years of clinical experience in mental health counseling, demonstrating a strong foundation in therapy techniques.
  • Deep understanding of mental health diagnoses, treatment options, and crisis intervention strategies.
  • Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and related clinical documentation practices.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience delivering both individual and group therapy, utilizing inclusive approaches that consider cultural responsiveness.
