Allied Health Psychotherapy Center is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team on a full-time basis. Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain detailed records of therapy sessions and client interactions in compliance with ethical guidelines and organizational policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Allied Health Psychotherapy Center, you will be working with a diverse client population, including individuals struggling with various mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, substance use issues, and eating disorders. Your experience and sensitivity in handling the unique needs of each client will be crucial in providing effective support and care.

Qualifications
  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona.
  • A minimum of four years of relevant experience in a clinical setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders and therapeutic methodologies, with a strong emphasis on evidence-based practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide culturally competent care and adapt therapeutic approaches to meet the diverse needs of clients.
  • Exceptional crisis intervention skills, with the ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations.

  • Commitment to ethical practice and maintaining client confidentiality in all interactions.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience with telehealth practices and the ability to engage clients effectively in a virtual format.
  • Familiarity with a wide range of therapeutic techniques including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques.
  • Previous work with specific populations such as children, adolescents, or trauma-affected individuals is a plus.
