Center Pointe Psychotherapy Services is seeking dedicated and skilled Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHC) to join our team in providing comprehensive outpatient care. This full-time position allows for remote work, enabling flexibility while delivering critical mental health support. Work Environment

This role operates primarily in a remote outpatient setting, allowing for effective work-life balance while providing essential mental health services to clients in need. You will be part of a comprehensive clinical team, collaborating regularly via video conferencing and online communication tools to ensure seamless client care. Daily work hours are from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough crisis assessments to evaluate and respond to client emergencies with immediate intervention strategies.
  • Provide immediate counseling and support to individuals experiencing acute mental health crises, utilizing established protocols.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency responders to ensure client safety during crises, demonstrating sound judgment and effective communication skills.
  • Implement follow-up care, tracking client progress and offering tailored recommendations for ongoing therapy and support options.
  • Utilize crisis intervention techniques and de-escalation strategies to manage volatile situations and prevent harm.
  • Engage in continuous professional development opportunities to enhance your counseling skills and crisis intervention methods.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work closely with a diverse client population, including individuals struggling with substance abuse disorders, trauma, and emotional crises. Our clients often come to us during their most vulnerable moments, and as such, a culturally sensitive and empathetic approach is essential in providing effective care. Qualifications
  • Education: Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
