Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' history of substance abuse and mental health status, including diagnostic interviews and standardized questionnaires.
  • Develop detailed, personalized treatment plans that address addiction concerns while integrating co-occurring mental health issues such as anxiety or depression.
  • Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI), tailored to the needs of the patients.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with our multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers, to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to client care.
  • Provide education and support to clients’ families, involving them in the recovery process to foster a supportive home environment for clients.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate records in compliance with state and federal regulations, ensuring confidentiality and appropriate documentation for ongoing treatment.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role will primarily focus on individuals struggling with substance use disorders and associated mental health challenges. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and require tailored interventions to suit their specific needs. Qualifications
  • A valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
  • A master’s or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field.
  • Specialized training or clinically supervised experience in addiction counseling.
