• Conduct detailed assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' substance abuse history as well as their related mental health conditions.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that address both addiction issues and underlying mental health concerns, integrating evidence-based practices.
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing best practices for various modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing.
• Collaborate effectively with a diverse treatment team, ensuring that care is coordinated and holistic.
• Provide education and resources to clients' families, encouraging their active involvement in the recovery process to foster a supportive home environment.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date records that comply with HIPAA regulations and promote continuity of care.

This role focuses on individuals facing challenges with substance use disorders, including alcohol, prescription medications, and illicit drugs. Our client base is diverse, encompassing various age groups and backgrounds. As a licensed mental health therapist, you will play a crucial role in guiding clients through their recovery journeys, helping them rebuild their lives and regain their sense of agency.

• Must hold a valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.
• Specialized training or demonstrable experience in addiction counseling is essential.
• Comprehensive knowledge of evidence-based practices for treating substance abuse and co-occurring disorders.
• Strong therapeutic skills complemented by the ability to motivate clients towards a path of recovery and self-improvement.
• Excellent communication abilities and teamwork skills are crucial for effective collaboration.

• Prior experience in a telehealth setting is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms is a plus.
