• Conduct thorough clinical assessments of clients to understand their unique mental health needs, utilizing established therapeutic modalities to create personalized treatment plans.
• Implement a range of effective therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to foster client engagement and recovery.
• Ensure accurate and secure documentation of clinical records in compliance with HIPAA and other relevant regulatory standards, maintaining the confidentiality of client information.
• Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary treatment team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to coordinate care and share insights on client progress.
• Participate in weekly case consultations and peer review meetings aimed at improving care quality and team cohesion.
• Provide education and support to clients and their families, helping them understand mental health conditions and the treatment options available to them.
• Stay informed of the latest research developments in mental health to continuously enhance your therapeutic practices and offer clients the best possible care.

As a Mental Health Counselor, you will work primarily with individuals affected by trauma and addiction. This diverse client population includes adults facing various mental health challenges. • A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• An active license in the state of Colorado as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• Demonstrated ability to apply solution-focused therapeutic techniques tailored to individual client needs, enhancing the effectiveness of treatment.
