The position typically operates during standard hours, Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts based on patient needs.

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify the unique needs and goals of clients seeking treatment for substance use disorders.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic methods tailored to each client’s situation.
• Provide individual counseling sessions utilizing techniques such as motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy.
• Facilitate engaging group therapy sessions that foster a supportive environment for clients in recovery.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, addiction medicine specialists, and other professionals for integrated care.
• Offer immediate crisis intervention and support during substance-related emergencies, ensuring client safety and well-being.

Your role will focus on individuals facing the complex realities of substance use and recovery. You will work with a diverse client base including those at various stages of their recovery journey, from initial treatment engagement to long-term recovery maintenance, providing them essential support tailored to their backgrounds and unique challenges.

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid license as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington.
• Strong foundation in understanding substance use disorders and familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Proven experience providing both individual and group therapy specifically related to addiction treatment.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating an empathetic and non-judgmental approach to care.
• Commitment to maintaining professional boundaries and adhering to ethical guidelines, ensuring patient confidentiality at all times.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and necessary computer applications.
