• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate clients’ substance use histories and their mental health conditions, forming a foundational understanding of their needs.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that address both addiction challenges and underlying mental health issues, using a holistic and evidence-based approach.
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing to promote recovery.
• Collaborate with other professionals on our treatment team—including psychiatrists, case managers, and social workers—to ensure a cohesive care strategy for each client.
• Educate and empower clients’ families, involving them in the recovery process to create a strong support system for the client.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with state and federal regulations, leveraging our electronic health record system to ensure high standards of documentation.

Our services are primarily directed towards individuals struggling with substance abuse alongside co-occurring mental health disorders. As a licensed counselor, you will be instrumental in guiding this population through their recovery journey. You will work with clients of diverse backgrounds and varying levels of addiction, tailoring your therapeutic approach to meet their unique needs and situations.

• A valid and current professional license as an LMFT, LPC/MHSP, LPC, LCSW, or PsyD is required.
• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is essential for consideration.
• Completion of specialized training or demonstrated experience in addiction counseling is highly preferred.
• A deep understanding of evidence-based practices for substance abuse treatment and co-occurring disorders is necessary.
• Exceptional therapeutic, counseling, and motivational skills that inspire clients towards positive change.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities that enhance collaborative care delivery.

• Two or more years of experience in a clinical setting focused on substance abuse treatment.
• Proficiency in utilizing telehealth platforms for virtual therapy sessions.
• Familiarity with community resources and referral networks for comprehensive client support.

The salary range for this position is $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and credentials.
