• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' substance abuse histories and accompanying mental health concerns.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that specifically address both addiction and underlying psychological issues, ensuring holistic care.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure that client care is cohesive and comprehensive, involving regular case discussions and strategy sessions.
• Provide education and support to clients’ families, helping them understand the recovery process and how to best engage in their loved one’s journey.
• Maintain detailed progress notes in compliance with state and federal regulations, ensuring that all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.

Our primary focus is to serve individuals facing substance abuse challenges, along with co-occurring mental health disorders. We work with a diverse range of clients, from early-stage users seeking intervention to those in recovery needing continued support. Our approach emphasizes respect, empowerment, and personal growth, helping clients to cultivate resilience and coping strategies necessary for sustained recovery.

• Active state license as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or PsyD.
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
• A solid foundation in addiction counseling with specialized training or experience in this area.
• In-depth knowledge of evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques applicable to substance abuse and co-occurring disorders.
• Superb counseling skills, with an ability to motivate and engage clients effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to thrive within a collaborative team environment.

• Previous experience in a community health or substance abuse clinic setting.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Experience in leading group therapy sessions and workshops.
• Knowledge of current trends and best practices in addiction treatment.
