• Conduct thorough client assessments to determine their substance abuse history, mental health conditions, and overall treatment needs, ensuring a personalized approach.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, drawing on frameworks such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI) to foster client motivation and therapeutic engagement.
• Work collaboratively with the treatment team to ensure comprehensive care, leveraging a team-based approach to support each client’s recovery journey.
• Educate and involve clients' families in treatment processes, helping them to understand the challenges of addiction and supporting their loved ones’ recovery efforts.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with all regulatory and ethical standards, ensuring that client information is handled with the utmost integrity.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A completed bachelor’s degree in a related field, with further specialization (master’s or doctoral degree) in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a similar discipline.
• Solid understanding and specialized training in addiction counseling and substance abuse treatment, with an emphasis on evidence-based methodologies.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop rapport and motivate clients toward change within a therapeutic relationship.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex concepts to clients and collaborating effectively in team settings.

• At least 2 years of direct experience working in the field of mental health counseling, particularly focusing on substance abuse treatment.
• Experience facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions, demonstrating effective therapeutic techniques.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for maintaining client documentation and progress notes.
