Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough clinical assessments using evidence-based practices to formulate personalized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs.
  • Implement effective therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and other recognized techniques.
  • Maintain detailed and confidential clinical documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations to ensure compliance and support quality care.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team, engaging in regular consultations with psychiatrists, psychologists, and fellow counselors to enrich the treatment process.
  • Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions and empower them with information concerning their treatment options and available community resources.
  • Stay informed about the latest developments and research in the mental health field to continually refine therapeutic practices and improve client outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients you will serve at the Addiction Recovery Trauma Clinic include individuals battling various mental health challenges, particularly those affected by trauma and addiction. Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Possession of an active license in Texas as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • A strong understanding of solution-focused psychotherapy techniques, enabling you to customize your approach based on individual client needs.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, necessary for building rapport with clients and collaborating effectively with colleagues.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly with trauma-informed care and mental health disorders.
  • A demonstrated ability to work in a remote or outpatient setting, managing client caseloads effectively and efficiently.
  • Prior experience or familiarity with community resources specific to El Paso, Texas, enhancing your capability to support clients appropriately.
