Job description

We are looking for a NetSuite Administrator who can configure, maintain, and optimize the NetSuite ERP system to support business workflows. The candidate will manage user access, customize fields/forms, create reports/searches, and handle integrations (e.g., Celigo, Shopify).


This is an on-site contract-to-hire position with our exclusive client. The ideal candidate will be local to the New Orleans area or open to relocation. Sponsorship is not available.


Fun Things You Will Do:

  • System Configuration & Maintenance: Configure customization, scripts, workflows, and custom records to meet business needs.
  • User Management: Maintain user roles, permissions, and security settings.
  • Import/export data and create dashboards, saved searches, and complex reports for leadership and stakeholders.
  • Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into system solutions.
  • Support core ERP processes including inventory management, order management, procurement, fulfillment, and financial operations.
  • Troubleshooting & Support: Act as the primary contact for technical issues and provide training for internal users.
  • Release Management: Handle bi-annual NetSuite updates and manage Sandbox refreshes.
  • Integration Management: Monitor and maintain connections between NetSuite and other systems (e.g., CRM, e-commerce).
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting for financial, operational, and performance metrics.
  • Build and maintain API integrations and automation using NetSuite scripting tools.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of NetSuite data models, workflow engines, and SuiteScript 1.0/2.0.
  • Strong understanding of NetSuiteโ€™s functional areas (Accounting, Inventory, Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay) plus strong technical proficiency.
  • Handโ€™s-on experience with CSV Imports, SuiteFlow, SuiteAnalytics, and saved search creation.
  • Background working within the Retail Industry, e-commerce or distribution environments is preferred.
  • 2-5+ years of experience with relational databases, SQL, and data migration.
  • Ability to translate functional business requirements into technical solutions.


Education:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • NetSuite Administrator Certification (preferred).
