RELOCATE TO KINGSFORD, MICHIGAN

$7,500 in relocation provided.


Duties:

  • Lead and manage the maintenance department responsible for Cessna and Citation aircraft, ensuring adherence to all Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) and industry standards.
  • Develop and implement maintenance programs aligned with manufacturer specifications, FAA requirements, and quality management systems.
  • Oversee scheduled inspections, preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting.
  • Coordinate aircraft maintenance to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Supervise inventory management for parts and equipment; ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry standards.
  • Lead safety audits, training sessions on aircraft systems including airframe structures, electrical systems, avionics, and vehicle maintenance practices.
  • Collaborate with flight operations to schedule maintenance windows that minimize operational disruptions while maintaining rigorous safety standards. Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in aircraft maintenance with a focus on Cessna or Citation models; strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical expertise in aviation systems.
  • Proven leadership skills in managing maintenance teams within an aviation or military environment; ability to motivate staff and foster a safety-first culture.
  • In-depth understanding of FAA regulations related to aircraft maintenance; familiarity with Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) Part 91/135/145.
  • Knowledge of P145 operations & processes.
  • Excellent communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams; ability to develop training programs on aircraft systems and safety procedures.
