Job description

SpecPro Professional Services (SPS) is seeking a U.S. National Capitol Region-based Relocation Coordinator to support U.S. Federal Protective Service (FPS) offices This position is intended for local hires residing in the National Capitol Region as employee must be able to report to the Alexandria or Springfield locations when required. This position is contingent upon award of contract.
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Reviews and coordinates space planning design, furniture and equipment orders and deliveries, and moving and relocation-support contracts to ensure relocations are accomplished on-time and within the budget.
  • Ensures relocation process and finished project meet FPS quality standards
  • Ensures FPS communications, security, and functional criteria are met.

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Ability to assess, analyze, plan, and coordinate complex relocation projects
  • Strong oral and written communication abilities required.
  • Working knowledge of Tririga and ServiceNow is highly desirable.

Education, Experience and certifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience required
  • Active Project Management certification. PMP required
  • Active FAC-P/PM Level II certification within the last 5 years, or equivalent, preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant degree program preferred.

Work Location
  • Must reside within the U.S. National Capitol Region
  • May operate in a hybrid telework capacity within the National Capital Region (NCR), subject to Government approval.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to visit office, warehouse, and other FPS sites and measure spaces.
  • Ability to perform desk work for extended periods, including sitting and using a computer.
  • Reasonable accommodation will be provided to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.
  • Requires sufficient vision, hearing, and manual dexterity to perform related tasks.

Work Environment:
  • May operate in a hybrid telework capacity within the National Capital Region (NCR), subject to Government approval.
  • Must reside within the National Capital Region and be able to report to the Alexandria or Springfield locations when required.
  • May occasionally visit operational sites, potentially encountering extreme temperatures, airborne particles, fumes, chemicals, or loud noise.
