Job description

You are the right person for the Regional Planning Intern position if you are a detailed oriented person with exceptional multi-tasking skills and a desire to impact the Triad. The PTRC is the lead regional organization for the 12 counties of the Piedmont Triad of North Carolina. The Regional Planning Intern will assist the Planning Department with a wide range of activities spanning water resources, transportation, land use, recreation, environmental and mapping. The activities will give an opportunity to work with multiple communities in our region. In a fast-paced, creative and collaborative office environment, the intern will gain valuable insight and experience across a broad spectrum of government functions. Additional duties may include a food system support, grant writing and other special projects.
