This role serves as the State, Local, and Education (SLED) Event Lead, owning mid-scale, regional event strategy and execution across high-priority government segments. It is responsible for driving pipeline generation and market penetration through scalable, high-impact events aligned to regional sales priorities and account-based marketing (ABM) strategies.
The role goes beyond execution. It requires strategic ownership of event programs, ensuring alignment with business growth objectives, particularly within State/Local and Education sectors, where complex, long-cycle deals demand deeper engagement.
Success is measured by pipeline contribution, engagement quality, and influence on revenue, with a strong focus on expanding presence in key SLED markets and supporting complex sales cycles through targeted event experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Own mid-scale and regional event strategy and execution for SLED segments, focusing on scalable pipeline generation
- Plan and execute hosted and sponsored events aligned to regional sales priorities and ABM strategies
- Partner closely with sales leadership and account teams to identify target accounts, define event objectives, and drive measurable pipeline outcomes
- Translate business goals into event strategies that support pipeline progression within SLED audiences
- Manage event execution end-to-end, from concept through post-event analysis, ensuring alignment to defined success metrics
- Support standardized frameworks for smaller, repeatable regional events to ensure consistency and efficiency across regional activations
- Coordinate with external agencies and vendors to deliver high-quality event experiences that resonate with government buyers
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders (sales, marketing, leadership) to ensure events directly support revenue objectives
- Define, track, and report on event KPIs, including pipeline contribution, engagement quality, and influence on sales cycles
- Support budget planning and management, ensuring efficient allocation of resources across events with the highest ROI potential
- Deliver post-event insights and recommendations to continuously optimize event performance and impact
- Contribute to broader event strategy initiatives and cross-functional projects as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of related work experience OR advanced degree with 1 year of related work experience OR combination of education and experience deemed equivalent
- 2-4 years Experience in developing and executing events on behalf of big brands.
- Public Sector experience a plus.
- Experience executing events across all targets (trade/industry, consumer, and media) a plus.
- Telecom experience a plus.
- At least 18 years of age

Base Pay Range: $78,000 - $140,600
Corporate Bonus Target: 15%
