Your Role
Digital Realty is seeking a Contract Manager to support contract management activities across North America. Reporting to the Contract Management NAM Leader, this role is part of the global Contract Management team within the Legal, Risk, Sustainability, and Compliance organization. The Contract Manager will lead and oversee the end-to-end contract lifecycle, drive operational excellence, ensure compliance with legal and corporate policies, and partner closely with Legal, Sales, Finance, Operations, and other stakeholders to support efficient deal execution. This role also plays a key role in process optimization, contract governance, knowledge management, reporting, and Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system enhancements.
What You'll Do
  • Lead the review, execution, administration, and management of commercial agreements, including MSAs, Service Orders, amendments, novations, and other routine agreements.
  • Ensure contracts comply with company policies, legal requirements, risk tolerance standards, and corporate governance expectations.
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex or high-risk contractual matters and identify risks while recommending mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain accurate contract records, documentation, data integrity, and confidentiality of sensitive business information.
  • Support contract audits, contractual obligation tracking, reporting requirements, and compliance initiatives.
  • Drive continuous improvement of contract management processes, workflows, controls, automation efforts, and best practices.
  • Generate dashboards, metrics, and reports that provide contract insights and support business decision-making.
  • Act as the primary resource for contract-related and CLM-related questions, including template selection, contract hierarchy, system data validation, and access management.
  • Collaborate with Legal, Sales, Finance, and Operations teams to support deal structuring, contract interpretation, and timely execution.
  • Support strategic initiatives involving CLM optimization, AI-driven contract data enhancement, process transformation, scalability efforts, and team onboarding and training activities.

What You'll Need
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Legal Studies, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in contract management, legal operations, contract administration, or a related discipline.
  • Strong understanding of contract law principles, commercial agreements, and contract lifecycle management practices.
  • Experience managing high-volume workloads in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience identifying contractual risks and developing practical risk mitigation strategies.
  • Proficiency with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platforms, preferably Conga.
  • Experience supporting cross-functional teams and partnering with Legal, Sales, Finance, and Operations stakeholders.
  • Experience with contract negotiation, in-house legal team collaboration, or global/multi-regional organizations is preferred.
  • Advanced degree (JD, MBA, or equivalent) and/or data center industry experience is a plus.

Our Compensation Philosophy

Compensation Range
Our published pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and geographical location. Individual pay is based on additional factors including but not limited to job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training. Moreover, an employee's total compensation package varies by role and may include salary, cash bonus or commissions, and equity awards not quantified below.
Compensation Range: $120,000 - $150,000 annually
This compensation range represents the Company's good faith belief as to what it will pay as a base salary for this position at the time of this posting.
