Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: $20.00 – $40.00 / hour (Based on experience)

Hours

1st Shift – Mon-Thurs 6:00am-4:30pm, Fri 6:00am-12:00pm

2nd Shift – Mon-Thurs 4:30pm-3:00am

3rd Shift – Fri-Sun 6:00am-6:30pm

4th Shift – Fri-Sun 5:30pm-6:00am

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform Dimensional Inspections: Conduct rigorous First Article Inspection (FAI), in-process, and final audits on complex machined components.
  • CMM Operation: Set up and run Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and vision systems to verify tight-tolerance features.
  • Hard Gage Inspection: Routinely check parts using standard hard gages, plug gages, thread gages, micrometers, and calipers.
  • Blueprint Reading & GD&T: Interpret complex engineering drawings and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) to verify part conformance.
  • Documentation & Traceability: Maintain meticulous quality records, log inspection results, and complete non-conformance reports (NCRs) when necessary.
  • Qualifications & Requirements
  • Industry Experience Required: Proven experience as a Quality Inspector specifically within the precision machining / CNC job shop industry.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to read blueprints, understand GD&T, run CMMs, and accurately use hard gages and hand inspection tools.
  • Materials Knowledge: Familiarity with inspecting tight tolerances on various metals and exotic plastics.
