Job description

Core Responsibilities

  • System Lifecycle Management: Perform comprehensive installations, routine maintenance, and complex repairs on various types and sizes
  • Technical Diagnostics: Utilize schematics and advanced diagnostic tools to troubleshoot burner sequences and boiler logic
  • Mechanical Maintenance: Execute "Open, Clean, and Close" procedures; perform refractory repairs, tube cleaning, and gasket replacements
  • Safety & Compliance: Conduct rigorous inspections to ensure all systems meet local codes and manufacturer safety standards
  • Field Representation: Act as a primary point of contact for clients, providing technical explanations and exceptional customer service during field calls

Technical Specialization: Combustion Controls

A critical component of this role is the ability to program, troubleshoot, and commission leading flame safeguard and combustion management systems, specifically:

  • Fireye: Expertise in Linkageless systems, including wiring, sequence timing and flame signal analysis
  • Siemens: Proficiency with LMV series linkageless systems, including actuator adjustment and fuel-air ratio profiling
  • Honeywell: Experience with 7800 Series controls and ControLinks systems to optimize burner performance and safety

Experience & Requirements

  • Professional Background: Proven experience in industrial boiler maintenance, HVAC/R, or a specialized mechanical field
  • Schematic Literacy: Ability to accurately read and interpret complex electrical ladders and piping diagrams
  • Operational Independence: Demonstrated ability to manage field service routes independently while maintaining high standards
  • Mechanical Aptitude: Strong hands-on knowledge of boiler installation, pumps, , piping, valves, motors, and steam accessories
  • Must have a valid driver's license
