Job description

Refinery Sampler (Entry Level)
Looking to break into the industrial field with a company that values safety, teamwork, and growth? This entry-level role offers hands-on experience in a vital part of refinery operations. As a Refinery Sampler, you'll be part of a team that ensures product quality through precise sample collection and coordination with lab personnel. No experience? No problem. Paid training is provided, and strong performers have clear opportunities to grow. If you're dependable, detail-oriented, and ready to start a long-term career in a high-demand industry, this could be the perfect fit.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
• Gathers and prepares sampling equipment for each shift
• Receives instructions and shift updates from outgoing sampler and lab lead
• Completes and labels all sample tags for accurate tracking and delivery
• Interfaces with lab and operations personnel during sample pickup and delivery
• Navigates tank farms and process units to collect product samples
• Communicates with the lab lead to ensure safe and timely sample handling
• Performs other duties as needed to support daily operations
Job Qualifications:
• Experience is a plus but not required, and paid on-the-job training is available
• May require a valid Driver's License and / or a valid TWIC card, depending on work location
• 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
• Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check
• Wear all required PPE without restriction and pass any required medical exams
• Speak, write, read fluent English
• Regular on-site attendance and punctuality is required
• Previous military experience and proven ability to follow procedures is a plus
Work Schedule:
12 Hour Rotating Shift (Days/Nights/Weekends/Holidays)
