We have an incredible opportunity for a dynamic Vegetable Prep Helper to join our growing Miami, FL Team!

With the three business segments of Airline Catering, International Event Catering, and Restaurants, Lounges & Hotels, we offer gourmet entertainment all over the world. We refine the classics, develop the unknown and grow constantly – sometimes beyond our own expectations.  

Responsibilities: 

  • Wash, peel, chop, and dice vegetables using knives or peeling machines, ensuring consistency and accuracy in cuts. 
  • Maintain cleanliness of the work area, equipment, and tools at all times. 
  • Follow all food safety and hygiene standards as outlined in the Food Safety Management System (FSMS) handbook. 
  • Report any issues related to food safety to the manager or hygiene and food safety team. 
  • Check food quality and doneness through smell, piercing, or tasting, as instructed. 
  • Contribute to a cooperative and friendly work environment. 
  • Support inventory efforts by noting low stock levels and reporting to the supervisor. 
  • Help minimize food wastage through proper food handling and preparation. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor. 

Qualifications:  

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred. 
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role in food production or kitchen environment. 
  • Familiarity with various vegetable cutting styles. 
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks during 8-hour shifts. 
  • Capable of lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling as required. 
  • Comfortable working in both hot and cold environments. 
  • Service-oriented with a collaborative and team-focused mindset. 
  • Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are a plus. 
  • Flexibility to work different shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
