Summary

Biltmore Fashion Park/PV are seeking a property-based Security Manager, to serve as the primary point of contact and accurately assess and address the needs and requests of tenants, guests, and others to achieve maximum customer satisfaction/security. As a valued member of the team, the Security Manager works directly with The Biltmore Fashion Park/PV Property Management Teams and third-party security provider to always ensure professional delivery of security services. The Security Manager serves a crucial role in orchestrating all needs and levels of communication between management, guests, tenants, our security vendor, and first responders during critical incidents. 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensures a superior level of customer service to enhance & elevate the overall guest experience
  • Act as a liaison between our guests, tenants, third-party security vendor, and management through highly effective communication skills
  • Manage Emergency Preparedness needs for Biltmore Fashion Park, PV and the RED Development Corporate office
  • Monitor and update Post Orders for third-party security vendor(s) as needed.
  • Fields service requests from tenants and guests and communicates with maintenance/operations staff and follows up with individual(s) once an issue has been resolved
  • Assists vendors and tenants with obtaining necessary authorized access to building areas with the assistance of the third-party security vendor.
  • Works collaboratively with Operations, Development and Construction as needed 
  • Work collaboratively with RED Development's/Biltmore Fashion Park's/PV Marketing Team for special events.
  • During critical incidents:
  • Provide a crucial link between our guests, tenants, management, and first responders
  • Provide a crucial link between security, management and first responders 
  • Following Media policy & protocol, act as an initial point of contact for media arriving on, or calling the Property Management team and/or Marketing Team 
  • Manages, monitors and oversees resource allocation and training with our third-party security vendor as relates to security services and the overall security program
  • Manage CCTV, Life-Safety, communications, and phone systems at the properties to address the needs of tenants, guests, and retailers
  • Reviews and verifies invoicing for security services from the third-party security vendor.
  • Liaisons with police, fire and other agencies to maximize the safety of guests, retailers and employees

Experience and Overall Expectations

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including writing reports, business correspondence, and procedural manuals.

  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from owners, managers, clients, customers, emergency services, public, and regulatory agencies.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and government regulations.

  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form, and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

  • Ability to perform basic math in all units of measure, including whole numbers, common fractions, decimals, and to compute rate, ratio, and percentages
  • Basic computer and software skills, including word processing, data entry and analysis, and presentation development.
  • Computer and software skills for workorder systems
  • Ability to appropriately prioritize and manage multiple requests at once.
  • Organized, detailed, reliable approach to duties and communication.
  • Consistently professional, collaborative, and responsive approach to customer service and interactions with colleagues.

Required: High School Diploma or equivalent. 2+ years Concierge/Security Lead experience. Basic computer skills including Excel, Word, and Outlook. 


Preferred: Security management experience. Concierge or customer service experience in a real estate setting
