Job Summary

We are seeking a high-volume Contract Recruiter to support hiring efforts at our 400-person manufacturing plant in Sparks, NV. This role will focus on sourcing, screening, and hiring manufacturing operators and production staff to meet immediate and near-term workforce demands. The ideal candidate has experience recruiting in manufacturing, warehouse or industrial environments and thrives in a fast-paced, metrics-driven setting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Full-Cycle Recruiting

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for hourly manufacturing roles (operators, assemblers, machine operators, warehouse associates)
  • Partner with HR team to understand staffing needs, shift requirements, and skill profiles
  • Develop and execute targeted recruiting strategies for high-volume hiring

Sourcing & Pipeline Development

  • Source candidates through local workforce partnerships, referrals, and community outreach
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified production candidates
  • Support hiring events, job fairs, and open interview days

Screening & Selection

  • Conduct phone screens and initial assessments aligned to role requirements
  • Coordinate onsite interviews and hiring manager feedback
  • Ensure a smooth and efficient candidate experience

Offer & Hiring Process

  • Facilitate offer process, including compensation alignment and candidate communication
  • Coordinate pre-employment activities (background checks, drug screening if applicable)
  • Partner with HR and onboarding teams to ensure successful hiring and start dates

Reporting & Compliance

  • Track recruiting metrics (time-to-fill, pipeline health, offer acceptance rates)
  • Maintain accurate records in the ATS
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and company hiring policies

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • 2โ€“5+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in manufacturing, logistics, or high-volume environments
  • Experience hiring hourly production or operator roles
  • Strong sourcing and screening skills
  • Ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)

Preferred

  • Experience recruiting in a plant or industrial site
  • Familiarity with Reno/Northern Nevada labor market
  • Experience with hiring events and workforce partnerships
