Job Summary: Maintains the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources office including recruiting administration tasks, oversees resort staffing strategies, reporting on staffing metrics, , onboarding new employees, completion of new hire paperwork, data entry and other assigned projects while providing exceptional service to our internal guests in a timely and welcoming manner. We are looking for a team player who is committed to the role and excited to make a positive impact to our resort's culture.

Hourly:

The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of the Palisades Tahoe Resort, LLC's hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Palisades Tahoe Resort, LLC's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term and long-term incentives and many region-specific benefits.

Base hourly pay range: $22.96 - $32.14 per hour

Essential Job Responsibilities/Duties/Tasks include the following: other duties may be assigned:

  • Responsible for strategy and full cycle administration of all domestic recruiting operations.
  • Establishing recruiting strategies in partnership with Alterra talent acquisition team.
  • Partner with marketing team to hit key objectives with recruiting support: Concepts for seasonal recruiting advertisement campaigns, pop up support requests from managers for hard to fill roles and
  • Administer company pages such as LinkedIn, Indeed, and Glassdoor
  • Management of the marketing liaison calendar and business plan
  • Administrating company pages such as LinkedIn, Indeed, and Glassdoor
  • Shared responsibility of annual recruiting budget, approving monthly spend in partnership with Alterra talent acquisition team and/or other third parties
  • Provides accurate information about employment opportunities, employee policies, events, and business operations for Palisades Tahoe.
  • Follows up with hiring teams to ensure candidates are being reviewed in a timely manner
  • Maintains job boards, job requisitions, and overall recruiting strategies partnering with the Alterra Mountain Company talent acquisition team.
  • Communicates and trains resort managers on seasonal and year-round hiring strategies.
  • Communicates both verbally and in writing through phone calls, emails, and ensures the regular flow of information to necessary parties as needed, on a daily basis.
  • Assists HR Front Office team as needed to warmly welcomes, greets, and assists employees with their questions related to employment at our Company in an efficient, courteous and safe manner.
  • Supports HR employee events as assigned.
  • Assists applicants and employees in the use of the recruiting and onboarding systems, verifies identity for I-9 forms, requests work permits, and remains compliant with all state and federal laws as we onboard new and returning employees.
  • Partners with HR leaders in establishing learning content, facilitating trainings, and maintaining on demand training resources for resort hiring managers.
  • Other duties as assigned.
