Job description

JOB TITLE: Associate Recruiter


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY: The Associate Recruiter supports full-cycle recruiting for Future Form Manufacturing across all facilities and functions, with a focus on high-volume non-exempt manufacturing and skilled trades roles. Working closely with and under the guidance of the Senior Recruiter, this position owns key stages of the recruiting process — from job posting and sourcing through candidate screening, interview coordination, and pre-employment processing. The Associate Recruiter will build foundational recruiting skills across a fast-paced manufacturing environment and serve as a key contributor to FFM's hiring velocity, candidate experience, and employer brand presence in each active market.

Sourcing & Candidate Generation

  • Post and maintain job requisitions across all platforms (job boards, ATS, LinkedIn, social media) ensuring accuracy, compliance, and brand consistency
  • Source active and passive candidates for non-exempt manufacturing, skilled trades, and entry-to-mid-level roles using job boards, LinkedIn, community resources, and employee referral programs
  • Build and maintain candidate pipelines for high-volume or recurring roles in coordination with the Senior Recruiter
  • Assist with sourcing for exempt and professional-level positions as needed


Screening & Interview Coordination

  • Conduct initial phone screens to assess candidate qualifications, interest, and cultural fit
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers across all FFM locations
  • Prepare and distribute interview guides and hiring manager materials for each requisition
  • Collect and document interview feedback in the ATS in a timely and consistent manner


Candidate Experience & Communication

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the recruiting process — from application through offer stage
  • Communicate FFM's employment value proposition, benefits, and culture in all candidate interactions
  • Ensure timely, professional, and consistent communication with all candidates regardless of outcome


Pre-Employment & Onboarding Support

  • Initiate and track background checks, drug screenings, and pre-employment requirements in coordination with HR
  • Prepare offer letters and new hire documentation under the direction of the Senior Recruiter and HR Director
  • Coordinate new hire onboarding logistics and first-day preparation in partnership with HR and site leadership


ATS & Reporting

  • Maintain ATS data integrity — accurate requisition status, candidate dispositions, and hiring activity documentation
  • Support weekly recruiting metrics reporting (open requisitions, pipeline status, time-to-fill, source of hire) for the Senior Recruiter and HR Director
  • Assist with job description maintenance and updates as directed


Employer Brand & Community Presence

  • Represent FFM at career fairs, trade school events, and community hiring events in each active market
  • Support the Senior Recruiter in building relationships with workforce development boards, trade schools, and community colleges across FFM facility locations
  • Assist with social media recruiting content and employer brand materials as directed


General

  • Maintain ISO 9001 system responsibilities in accordance with Quality Manual and Procedure Level documentation, including accurate recruiting records within the QMS
  • Participate actively and positively in Lean activities
  • Assist other HR team members as required

Essential

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 1–3 years of recruiting, HR coordination, or related experience; experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment a strong plus
  • Working knowledge of an ATS and standard recruiting platforms (LinkedIn, Indeed, ZipRecruiter, or similar)
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple open requisitions and competing priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; professional and responsive with candidates and internal stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
  • Ability to work onsite at FFM facilities; occasional travel to other FFM locations as needed
  • Understanding of EEOC compliance and lawful hiring practices

Beneficial
  • Experience recruiting for manufacturing, skilled trades, or industrial roles (welders, machinists, laser operators, assemblers, or similar)
  • Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now or comparable HRIS
  • SHRM-CP, PHR, or aPHR certification (or actively pursuing)
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Experience supporting high-volume hiring campaigns or rapid-ramp environments

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION:

Sit 75%, Stand 10%, Walk 10%, and Bend 5%. Maximum (minutes): Sit 240, Stand 15, Walk 10, and Bend 5. Must have normal vision (with or without corrective lenses) and normal hearing (with or without hearing aid enhancement).


Working Environment: Office environment, low noise level. Occasional exposure to shop environment with moderate noise level, exposure to dust, heat and cold.


This position will require drug testing per company policy.
