Job Summary
Under the direction of the Associate Director of Regional Recruitment, the Regional Recruitment Coordinator will manage all phases of recruitment, admission, and events within the assigned territory within metro Atlanta. This position provides students with accurate and timely information about the admission and enrollment processes, institutional policies, academic programs, and support services. Note this is a remote located position with extensive regional travel including on evenings and weekends. The Coordinator is expected to work regular business hours (Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm) when not traveling. Monthly visits to campuses in Statesboro and Savannah are expected for recruitment events and in-person training. The Coordinator will consistently exhibit service, collaboration, and excellence as championed by the Division of Enrollment, Marketing and Student Success.
This is a fully remote position. The incumbent must reside and work in the states of Georgia or South Carolina.
Responsibilities
  • In collaboration with the Associate Director, plan strategic recruitment initiatives to meet enrollment goals for assigned territory metro-Atlanta and surrounding counties
  • Travel extensively to attend and present at college fairs, high schools, admission events and other community events to recruit prospective students, including transfer and non-traditional recruitment events
  • Provide information concerning all aspects of the University to prospective students and their families
  • Plan and manage recruitment events for the assigned territory within metro-Atlanta and surrounding counties
  • Maintain regular correspondence with prospective students via email, social media, phone calls, hand- written notes, and text messaging
  • Use the Slate CRM to monitor the progress of the territory, track travel, and schedule visits with prospective students
  • Create presentations, attend events, and host events tailored to school counselors, community based organizations, prospective students and their families
  • Develop strong relationships with school counselors, alumni, community leaders, and other educators in assigned territory
  • Develop meaningful ways to promote the Honors College, Southern Leaders program, and Admissions scholarship opportunities
