We are looking for an experienced General Service Manager to lead our service and warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and customer relationship skills, strong service coordination capabilities, and a proven track record of team management.

You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including overseeing field service technicians, managing warehouse logistics, coordinating early morning crew loading, and ensuring smooth service documentation for hot tubs and swim spas.

Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Manage and inspire a team of pool and spa service professionals to ensure high employee morale, exceptional customer satisfaction, and department profitability.
  • Morning Dispatch & Loading: Oversee the warehouse operations and coordinate the loading of service vehicles each morning to ensure crews have the correct equipment, parts, and chemicals to start their day efficiently.
  • Operational Oversight: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the service department, ensuring maintenance, water chemistry diagnostics, and equipment repairs are completed efficiently and correctly.
  • Warehouse Management: Maintain warehouse organization, manage inventory levels of parts and chemicals, and track incoming and outgoing equipment shipments.
  • Mentorship & Growth: Train and mentor service advisors, warehouse staff, and field technicians on industry best practices, safety standards, sales techniques, and customer service excellence.
  • Workflow Management: Help with directing the scheduling and dispatching of field technicians for optimal route efficiency.
  • Documentation: Manage the flow of service department paperwork, including equipment warranties, water analysis reports, and service invoices.ย 
Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; bachelorโ€™s degree preferred.
  • Valid state-issued driverโ€™s license and a clean driving record are required.
  • Successful completion of a background screening.
  • Management Experience: At least two years of experience as a service manager or supervisor, preferably within the pool and spa, logistics, or mechanical service industries.
  • Logistics Skills: Previous experience overseeing warehouse inventory and managing the morning dispatch/loading of field-based crews is required.
  • Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of pool and hot tub equipment (pumps, filtration systems, heaters, automation), water chemistry, and spa electronics is highly preferred. Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or APSP/PHTA certification is a major plus.
