Job description

THIS IS A PART TIME POSITION. The clinical therapist (LCSW, LMHC or LMFT required; LCAC/LAC preferred) provides direct client care through behavioral health interventions, bio-psychosocial assessment, treatment plan development, individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, case management, discharge planning, and comprehensive referral services.

Clients all identify as female and are recovering from substance use disorder and most have history with trauma and abuse. Must be comfortable, professional and have experience working with women.

Promote quality and best practice interventions and outcomes and work in a collaborative process to offer high-quality professional services to women.

Group Facilitation is part of this position for women dealing with Substance Abuse Disorder at the Dove Recovery House for Women facility (Indianapolis, IN location), using an established curriculum, as well as administrative duties pertaining to group, authorizations for insurance, staffing program participants and data entry. 

Individual Therapy will be provided to women in the Dove House program. Identifies needs and provides comprehensive and fluid links through case management to other treatment programs, community resources, and services within the continuum as is appropriate to client treatment needs.

  • Accurately complete all necessary forms and produce statistical information.
  • Ensure compliance with Medicaid, Recovery Works, and other funding programs.
  • Engage in consistent chart audits, reviewing assessments, treatment plans, and clinical documentation.
  • Provide resident mediation, support, and crisis response, when needed.
  • Collaborates with multi-disciplinary treatment team in planning, facilitating and coordinating treatment especially in the areas of assessment, referral resources, and discharge planning as is appropriate to client treatment needs.
  • Serve in an on-call capacity on a rotating basis with other full-time clinical staff members.
  • Ensuring individualized, person-centered treatment is always occurring.
