Job description

As a Counselor, you’ll lead dynamic group therapy sessions and be a vital part of our member-centered care teams. You’ll work in a mission-driven environment where compassion, integrity, and human connection drive real transformation.

Schedule: Monday - Thursday 9a-7p EST

Location: Hybrid, office/home.

Salary: $80,000 - $100,000

Sign On Bonus: $4,000

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct intake assessments to evaluate individuals’ appropriateness for our program.
  • Complete clinical assessments as assigned each day
  • Provide individual support, as needed, such as crisis intervention, referrals to other resources, liaising with outside parties involved in the member’s treatment and coordinating with the Care Navigators.
  • As census increases, you will lead 3–4 one-hour group therapy sessions per day using a structured, evidence-based curriculum.
  • Facilitate group discussions using a “plug and play” approach from approved modalities to meet members where they are within the guardrails of our clinical framework.
  • Collaborate with prescribers, care navigators, and recovery coaches.
  • Monitor member progress and document outcomes.
  • Support a positive, recovery-oriented environment for members.
  • Engage in local community outreach to promote Groups’ mission.

What You Need

  • An active license or certification: LCSW
  • Minimum two years’ leading groups in a SUD setting.
  • High comfort level with Technology: EMR, Telehealth software, Google products (Gmail, Google Docs/Sheets/Drive), mobile apps, etc.
  • Compassion, collaboration, commitment to quality care, and an investment in member success.
  • Other preferred backgrounds, experience, and skills include: mental health, social work, substance use disorder treatment, therapy, human services, social services, medication assisted treatment or MAT.
