What is the difference between Records Manager vs Data Analyst?
| Aspect | Records Manager | Data Analyst |
|---|---|---|
| Required Credentials | Records management certifications, often a degree in information management or related field | Data analysis certifications, such as CAP, or degrees in statistics, data science, or related fields |
| Work Environment | Office settings, archives, data storage facilities | Office environments, often working with software tools and databases |
| Employer & Industry Usage | Organizations with large data or document management needs, such as healthcare, government, legal | Businesses analyzing data for insights, marketing, finance, technology sectors |
