Job description

POSITION SUMMARY
Provide administrative support for company safety programs by coordinating employee and contractor badging and training, maintaining accurate training and company physical records, organizing contractor safety meetings, and coordinating requirements and information among Security, the Safety team, employees, and contractors. This position operates under direct supervision within the Safety department. Core competencies include safety administration, training coordination, records management, badging support, and contractor communication. This role offers development opportunities through structured training and increasing responsibility for safety program administration.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Coordinate employee and contractor badging requirements with Security
• Schedule and track required safety training for employees and contractors
• Maintain accurate training records and company physical examination records
• Organize contractor safety meetings, including scheduling, attendance, and documentation
• Coordinate information and administrative requirements among Security, the Safety team, employees, and contractors
• Monitor upcoming expirations and follow up on missing or incomplete records
• Maintain organized safety files and support routine reporting and audits

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:
•High school diploma or GED required
Experience:
•1-4 years of relevant experience
•Entry to mid-level position

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Primarily an office work environment with regular use of a computer, phone, and standard office equipment. Requires frequent sitting and occasional walking, standing, bending, and lifting up to 20 lbs. May require occasional visits to refinery or contractor work areas where required PPE must be worn, and established site safety requirements followed.
