Description
Job Title: Receptionist Opener
Job Purpose: To serve members and guests in a professional, friendly manner while following outlined club procedures and policies by providing genuine hospitality.
(Availability: Monday - Thursday 4:30am -9am)
Operational
  • Work all scheduled shifts as well as flexibility in covering shifts
  • Punctual for work shift
  • Regularly attends staff meetings
  • Wear full uniform (Black Pants, Black Club Fit Jacket & Sneakers), and name tag on scheduled shifts
  • Maintain reception desk in a clean and orderly fashion
Communication
  • Professional and friendly phone manner
  • Courteous and respectful to members
  • Direct member inquiries\problems to proper manager
  • Check email regular for updates within department
  • Partner with MOD as needed
Service
  • Greet everyone who enters the club
  • Show attention to detail in using members' names when checking in
  • Answer all incoming phone calls politely and channel accordingly
Job Requirements
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift 20 lbs
  • Ability to understand and communicate both verbally and written in English
  • Ability to follow directions
  • Ability to think independently and suggest effective solutions to potential challenges

Ongoing Club Fit Training through 1huddle Learning Management System:
    • Bloodborne Pathogens (annually)
    • Emergency Response Protocol (ERP) (bi-annually)

  • Understand and utilize multi-line phone and paging system
  • Understand and executing all Club App procedures
  • Assist with Guest registration
  • Understanding and executing point of sale procedures

  • Divides workload and cover breaks equally with co-workers
  • Maintain a good relationship with management
Reporting Structure
  • Direct Line to Reception Manager
