What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a front desk location within a financial services environment.
  • Monitor visitor access at the front desk by greeting guests, confirming identification and/or appointments, issuing access credentials, and documenting entries according to site protocols.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
  • Support front desk operations by answering questions, directing visitors, receiving deliveries, and maintaining accurate logs, reports, and other required documentation.
  • Observe lobby and reception activity and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or security-related concerns to help to deter disruptions at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
  • Provide a DD214 with Honorable Discharge or an associate degree or 60 college credits or a Police Academy certificate or a Corrections Academy certificate.
  • An armed guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
