Travel is involved with this position between all of our offices. Gainesville, Braselton, Cumming, Johns Creek, and some Habersham as needed.
Reception Responsibilities and Skills:
We are looking for a motivated individual to work as a receptionist in the medical field. This position will perform a variety of administrative functions with a focus on customer service.

Reception Responsibilities:
  • Patient Registration: Check-in, Obtain/Update Signed Patient Forms, Obtain Insurance Cards and enter/update in EMR System, collecting co-payments, deductibles, and any other patient owed account balance at both check-in and check-out check-out
  • Answering our scheduling line, appointment scheduling
  • Other duties as assigned.

Lead Responsibilities: In addition to regular reception duties leads are also responsible for the following. Admin time is provided to accommodate these responsibilities.
  • Training New Hires
  • Create Weekly Staff Schedules for Reception Team
  • Manage Coverage for Staff Call Outs
  • Ensure work ques are being completed by the department in a timely manner
  • Build Provider Schedule in EMR System
  • Assist Reception Manager with implementation of polices and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum of a high school degree or equivalent required. Some lead experience is preferred. This is a transitional position that is intended to grow assigned individual into a department manager as the department grows.
Use of computers, telephone, fax machine, copier, calculator, credit card processing machine, document scanner, and other office equipment necessary to perform required duties as appropriate to the scope of the practice
