As a Security Officer Full Time Reception Check In in Scottdale, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a logistics and distribution location, you will serve as a welcoming, highly visible presence, assisting visitors, managing access, monitoring entry activity, and responding to security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a secure environment. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by greeting visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel; verifying access authorization; and following site-specific security-related procedures.
  • Monitor visitor entry activity, maintain accurate visitor and delivery records, issue temporary credentials as directed, and communicate access concerns to appropriate site contacts.
  • Respond to incidents, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Maintain a professional front-desk presence in a logistics and distribution location, answer incoming calls, direct guests, and help to deter unauthorized access.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least two years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
